In the event of severe weather, information about school closures will be available from these sources
An email will be sent by the Headteacher to inform you of school closures and reasons for closure- please ensure up to date email addresses are provided for this.

Parents/Carers can also find closure updates on the Perth and Kinross Council website by logging onto www.pkc.gov.uk and go into the link ‘Information for you’ listed at the bottom of the page, and then into the link ‘School closures’. The Perth and Kinross Council Facebook page will also notify yourselves of any school closures.
Every effort will be made to keep our school open up to the point that doing so would involve unreasonable risk. When the school is open, parents will need to use their own judgement based on conditions where they live as to whether it is safe to send their children to school or not. If you keep your child at home please contact the school as soon as possible to let us know. If your child uses the school bus please contact the bus company directly to find out if the bus is operating: the telephone number is on the letter detailing pick up and drop off times and locations.
If we have to close the school whilst pupils are at school we will keep all children in school until we have contacted parents to come and collect them. Please ensure you have given us up to date telephone contact numbers for you and your emergency contacts
