Our Vision, Values and Aims
Our Vision, Values and Aims for our school are depicted within our "River of Learning". This reflects our school identity and our place within our local community as it is inspired by the River Tay. Staff, children and parents created this together and they have become central to our daily learning and to life at Kinnoull. The acronym TAY stands for Try, Apply, You can fly which represent important parts of our learning journey. These stages of the river of learning help us all to plan, learn, assess and identify our next steps.
The "River of Learning" mural is a centre focal point for our school and the stepping stones represent the improvement we have made in line with our Quality Improvement Plan for the year.
Our values underpin our positive relationship policy and restorative approaches, with children being able to confidently refer to them on a daily basis.
The vision for our school is ambitious and ensures that all pupils are experiencing an engaging and inclusive learning environment where their voices are heard and where they can expect to achieve.
As a Gold accredited Rights Respecting School we have allowed our vision, values and aims to reflect our dedication towards upholding children's rights.
